Athens Housing Authority (“AHA”) is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Chief Operating Officer. This position is responsible to the Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) for the operations of the AHA. This position oversees property management, maintenance, resident support, lease enforcement, admissions, and occupancy departments with the imperative to effectively accomplish program goals and objectives in compliance with all applicable regulations and AHA policies. Performance of these duties requires the application of executive skills, excellent judgment, and decision-making ability. Work is performed under the general supervision of the CEO and is evaluated through multiple programs, including but not limited to the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, and AHA compliance, as well as other general management measures.
