Job Opening: Maintenance Supervisor
Housing Authority of the City of Wrightsville
The Housing Authority of the City of Wrightsville is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and manage our maintenance operations. This position reports directly to the Executive Director and plays a key role in ensuring the upkeep and modernization of our properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and schedule maintenance staff for work orders, routine and preventive maintenance, and vacancy preparation.
- Completion of daily work orders and unit turnovers.
- Oversee modernization projects and ensure compliance with HUD standards.
- Conduct inspections of units, grounds, and facilities.
- Manage inventory, procurement, and vendor relations.
- Train staff in safety procedures and regulatory compliance.
- Respond to emergency maintenance issues promptly (Will be required to be on call every other weekend for emergencies only)
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required; college education preferred.
- Minimum two years of maintenance-related experience with knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and grounds maintenance.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license and ability to pass background and drug screening.
- Certifications in HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical are highly desirable.
